One on One Coaching
In addition to my own projects, it gives me great pleasure to lend my editorial skills to new projects. I enjoy working with pre-published and established writers and have experience providing thoughtful feedback on graphic novels, middle grade novels, young adult novels, picture books, and on pitch paragraphs and query letter composition.
Once we decide to work together, we’ll determine an appropriate turn around time, I’ll read your work, provide written feedback, and we’ll meet over zoom to discuss. I will also provide any suggestions I might have for next steps, and you can feel free to ask any questions you may have about the publishing process.
CLASS, BOOKSTORE,AND LIBRARY VISITS
One of my favorite parts of being an author is visiting classrooms, bookstores, and libraries in order to talk about Not He or She, I'm Me and spread its celebratory, affirmative message. I am available for virtual and in-person visits and am happy to work with you to tailor my offerings to fit curriculum needs. I especially enjoy participating in events that promote stories for lgbtqia+ and gender creative kids and their families.
